We are looking for a to join and work alongside Dr. Jeena Jacob at our growing out-patient psychotherapy practice in Arlington Heights, IL. This position is available for both part-time and full-time employment.

Description:

Jeena Jacob Inc. is a psychotherapy clinic focused on using our active and goal-orientated style to improve the quality of life for our clients. We implement a wide range of therapeutic techniques including traditional talk therapy, biofeedback, and neurofeedback services to provide each and every client a treatment plan focused around their individual goals and needs. An aspiring candidate must be a licensed (LCPC, or Psy.D) therapist who is passionate about providing excellent service to every client. Our ideal candidate should be well-versed in the biopsychosocial perspective towards mental health treatment with interest or experience using biofeedback and neurofeedback techniques. Experience with biofeedback and neurofeedback is not necessary, as we are willing to train! Additionally, experience working with a wide range of ages, individuals, family/couples, and presenting issues is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively evaluate, treat, and discharge clients.
• Provide excellent care and concern for their client’s treatment and personal goals.
• Timely and accurately document client information, presenting issues, progress, and goals.
• Be responsible for your own scheduling and planning.
• Work closely with our biofeedback/neurofeedback technician(s) concerning client progress and treatment goals.
• Actively collaborate with our team. Be willing to consult with your peers to discuss a client’s treatment.
• Behave with professionalism and with a client-centered mindset.
• Must maintain a steady case load (industry average is 20-25 clients per week if full-time).

Qualifications:

• Must possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology or in a related discipline from an accredited program.
• Must be a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Psychologist with license to practice in the state of Illinois.
• Ability to maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to ethical guidelines and state laws regulating the practice of therapy.
• Working knowledge of the DSM, diagnosis, and treatment interventions.
• Demonstrates skill applying a wide range of therapeutic modalities.
• Ability to work with clients in a culturally sensitive manner.
• Interest or experience using biofeedback/neurofeedback techniques.
• Excellent communication, organizational, time-management, and decision-making skills.

Expected Compensation Range:

• Percentage of Collections (approx. compensation of $90,000 – $120,000, if full-time)
